Living forever had its disadvantages, one of them being the fact that you were constantly bored; things that you usually found entertaining just weren’t enough anymore. Not a lot of things could make Andrew feel happy and alive these days. If it wasn’t for the love of his life and his family, he wouldn’t know what to do with himself, to be honest.
He sat alone in the house for hours, hours that felt like days to the vampire at this point. Finally he moved, sighed and bit his bottom lip as his red eyes darted all over the place, but he arrowed his eyes when they froze upon the sight of his pale hand. The sofa beneath his fingers felt fragile in a way. Like just one small push can destroy the very thing he’s sat upon, which in this case was true.
Andrew couldn’t help but wonder where the rest was, Maddison, Poppy...all of them. He was bored, and if there was ever a time for bonding it was now. But he was alone, as the silence kept reminding him. But...it wasn’t completely silent, now was it? A smirk broke over his face and he turned on the sofa to look out of the window, the sound of rain falling to the Earth sounded...good, calming and soothing even.
But the vampire had other ideas. Usually he loved the rain. Nothing better than a cloudy town with rain pouring down upon it, you know, without him having to do so much as give a flick of the hand. Without so much as a thought, Andrew was on his feet, scarf around his neck and coat over his shoulder, arms slipped into the sleeves. The smirk still tugged away at the corners of his thin lips as he walked out of the front door, and as soon as his feet touched the ground it stopped raining and that’s when he started to run...well, walk, but you know, vampire speed and all that.
It wasn’t long until he found himself in the woods, nose filling with fresh air, scents from all kinds of different things. He and his family lived here, in Forks, for some time now. But he never truly just took a break to walk around in the forest and take it all in. He came to a stop in a small meadow, raising a brow as he examined it. It was nice, wet, but still nice.
Andrew turned his eyes to the clouded sky and with his ability forced them to part and allow a few rays of sun to pass them. They fell right on him, and he immediately started to shimmer like a million, perfect diamonds. The sun felt good. He missed how it felt when he was human, hell, he can’t even remember. But all he knew was this was the first time in 126 years he allowed the sun to touch his skin...the first time in a while he used his ability to.

Her life has panned in a completely different way then she could have ever though it would have done. She used to think it was a curse when she had found out what she had been turned into a vampire because she would not see her daughters grow up in beautiful women. However, that all changed when Maddison began to love Andrew and the man he was. Though he could be considered ruthless and cold, she saw a side of him that people very rarely saw and she felt bless that only she and her family saw it. She loved him with everything that she has. Maddison had been away hunting; every so often, she would go somewhere else to hunt just to give her a little bit of adventure. Normally she would go on her own; she had particular taste now she was just on her way back feeling amazing after feeding on fresh human blood. A familiar scent took to her nose and a beaming smile on her face; she knew whose it was. Jumping up in the trees, she ran from branch to branch with ease taking her time. Maddison was running late to get home since she would have been back the day before last, but where she had been it was a beautiful place to be.
The rain was blowing in her face when suddenly the sun came out of no-where, now to her there was only one way to explain that, her husband was using his power, it was a rare occurrence, even to her. Maddison’s power was molecular combustion where she could basically blow something up, it was a handy power to have but she very rarely used because she didn’t need to. If she ever did, it would be to protect her family against anyone that would threaten them she would die to protect them.
Soon enough she arrived to where the scent was strongest and a smile was on her face as she saw the shimmer upon her husband’s skin, it made the happiest when she was with him. Maddison was dressed in a pair of black jeans, boots and a jacket a simple blue top, her hair was in a ponytail. “Well hello there my darling husband, I like the sudden sunshine.” Maddison chuckled from the branch she was sat upon watching him before she jumped down and landed next to him. “I’ve missed you.” Every occasion with Andrew meant everything to her, they had been married for a long time but she still love him as strongly if not stronger than before, softly she kissed him on the lips in greeting.
