Ekkanne Ophelia Grace wasn't exactly sure what to do that day. It was hot out and she was strolling around Forks in her blue jeans and her favorite, "...I'M ALIVE!" White T-Shirt with her hair pulled up by a blue ribbon and her feet clad in white flip flops. Her flip flops slapped against the ground as she wandered aimlessly around, eyeing an eye scream shop that sold nineteen dollar cones. Grumpily, she wondered where she would get nineteen dollars. That is, until she slammed right into something big. And solid.
"Umph. What in Jimminy Crickets can be so hard when it is clearly flesh and bones?" She grumbled, taking a step back as she put her hands on her hips to stare up at a tall man. A very, very, tall man. Since Ekki was only 4'5 almost everyone seemed like a giant to her but this guy...He seemed bigger than a giant. Grumbling, she spotted his wallet hanging loosely from his pocket. Smiling the tiniest bit, quick as lightning, she snatched a twenty dollar bill and took off. Ekki wasn't the best at pickpocketing, heck, she could never pickpocket someone without them noticing but she was good at running. And run, she did. Racing to take cover in the forest, her foot scuffed a nest that had somehow fallen. Squealing from many birds awakened her senses and without thinking and unaware if the man was giving chase to her, she yelled out.
"He did it!" She screamed and poured on speed, racing through the forest and crashing through the undergrowth until she came upon...A camel. Yelping, she screeched to a stop and raised an eyebrow at the camel. Why was a camel in Forks? It was definitely uncalled for but nevertheless, she stroked it softly.
"Hey there, fella," She laughed. It snorted. Then started to chew at her hair.
"Ew! Bad camel!" She yelped, she didn't know if the man was still chasing her and for some reason, was too scared to turn around and now, she didn't have am appetite for ice cream. Shrugging, she shoved the dollar bills into the camel's mouth.
"Chew on that," She said, yanking her hair out and climbing up onto it's hump. It snorted and reared and bucked like a donkey. It clearly wanted her off but she ignored it's protests and stood on her tippy-toes on it's hump to reach a nearby tree's branch. She grabbed onto it and pulled herself up onto the branch to sit. Then, she stuck her tongue out at the camel.
