Aurora could be found deep in the forest having just fed on a mountain lion, she still preferred human blood, it made her feel stronger and though she could switch between blood and food, she preferred blood. Things were starting to look up for her and this place was starting to become home for her, and she had just bought a home within Forks. Of course, she lied slightly about her age and that her parents had left her money to pay for something out right. Her back garden opened into the forest so it proved to be an advantage to her. Rory thought she would never find a place where she would truly belong and yet here she was with a true smile on her face. There had only been one vampire she had met so far and that had been Ekkanne, and she was a little monster but in a cute way, it broke her heart that such a young girl was on her own in the world, no matter what type of creature she was. She had been on her own for a long time and it was not something she would want anyone to experience, it was a hard life to live, especially for eternity.
In her mind she had come so far to be where she was, though she looked physically on eighteen she had an old soul and was older than… well she was just a lot older than people would mistake her for. She had seen decades past and several fashions, but if she remembered correctly she was born in 1402 and her father was killed in 1764 and she had been alone ever since. So it was a long time to live on her own, there was still a lot that she needed to learn and she was not going to give up, not when things were starting to look up for her. Walking around she looked at the dark clouds, it was going to rain again at some point, not that it surprised her. It was then she picked up a scent, though she couldn’t smell it that strong because she was not a full vampire, she only had enhanced senses. “Who is there?” She asked out loud placing her hands up in front of her to freeze whoever it was in case she needed to get away quickly from them.
