Saturday, 9:00 A.M. Ezo sighed and stared down at Larry, her dog. She had recently adopted him after finding him at her doorstep, trying to find a place out of the rain. The black dog was just as startled as her to find someone staring back at him through the doorway. Ezo, who had a soft spot for most canines, took the dog in. He seemed to know what she was and accepted it. She was intending to find him a new home soon, but his oddball personality made her keep him. The mangy dog had nudged his way into her heart. Larry yawned and lay down on her feet, lazily watching a bird hop along the sidewalk. Ezo looked around the town she was in. It's quite nice. She thought.
Larry, almost as if reading her mind, got up and peed on a tree. That dog was actually smirking at her. Not anymore. Ezo couldn't help but smile, and opened her laptop, which she had bought at a pawn shop, but it still worked pretty well. She watched the passerby with her mismatched eyes, one blue, one green, and wondered what she should do today.

Jane hissed as she pushed murky brown contacts into each crimson, blood red, eyes. Fitting really, red eyes for a devourer of blood like her. The blonde vampire stared into the mirror and snorted. A girl with blonde hair, brown eyes, and full, obnoxiously pink lips stared back at her. Why in the name of the first vampire, did Jane have to be forced on this mission? Jane, of course, was perfectly fine with following Aro's orders. He was the man that saved her after all and although she was merciless, she was loyal and kept promises unless Aro told her to break them. But this? Moving to Forks undercover as a girl named Lovaii Silverstein? This was beyond ridiculous. First, who even had a name such as "Lovaii"? Certainly not Jane. At least she could maintain her personality as the same. She'd throw herself into a pit of fire before acting as the stereotypical, dumb, cheerleader, blonde in high school. Yes, you heard that right. She, Jane Aubrey Frederico, was being forced to attend a high school. She didn't know how Aro managed to make that be considering Jane looked like a little thirteen year old instead of a high schooler, but he had and for that, Jane felt a sudden burning hate for high schools in general. Worst of all, Jane couldn't feed on humans except for when she really needed to, Aro had instructed her to go on a diet and said most girls did it nowadays and it wouldn't be too hard if they actually enjoyed it.
Well, Aro, She thought, a little annoyed. Most of those girls a human and then her luck gave away (Like she even had luck) as she bumped into a girl. A very foul smelling girl. Discreetly, Jane sniffed the air and smelt out the girl's scent. A shapeshifter, that was what she was. Jane wrinkled her nose. Shapeshifters weren't her favorites. At all. Sighing, she frowned but restrained herself from snapping the girl's neck. Aro's orders She screamed at herself mentally and sat beside the shapeshifter and her dog on the grass, not aware of really where they were. Not like it mattered anyway.
"Hello, I'm Jane," She said, as civilised as possible. "And who might you be?"

Sorry, super short post...
Ezo looked up from her laptop and was surprised to see someone adressing her. It surprised her more to see her sitting on the grass. "Um, I'm Ezo. Why don't you sit in a chair?" Larry looked up from under the tree and growled. He obviously sensed something about Jane. Ezo instinctively tensed and inhaled, scenting the air. She caught an odd scent, something she had never really smelled before. But her instincts were trying to tell her something. Runrunrun Ezo finished typing on the laptop and shut it with a click. "I just moved here." She said, ignoring her instincts. Larry had gone off somewhere.
"I hope you don't mind, but do you know where the high school is?" Ezo had mixed feelings about the high school. She absolutely detested moving to new schools and feeling like an ant underneath a microscope. Often times Ezo would just ignore everyone and they would go away. But one time she had actually shown some emotion. A group of giggling teens saw Ezo at her locker and decided to pay her a visit.
"So you're new, huh?" One girl said, flipping her hair over her shoulder. Ezo didn't understand why every question a person said had to be followed by that incessant little sound that wasn't even a word. Really, Ezo thought that the human language was a bunch of useless terms and extra letters that you don't even pronounce in a word, but they're still there to make it look fancy. Ezo ignored the girl and her followers and turned her focus on the back of her locker. But the girl continued talking anyway. "We were just wondering if we could show you around." A nice enough gesture, but Ezo wasn't in the mood to be bothered. In fact, she was in a very bad mood to be bothered. While in her wolf form, Ezo had gotten bitten on the tail by a very temperamental badger. Even though she didn't have her tail in human form, it still hurt. "I'm sorry, but who's 'we'? Your friends haven't even voiced their opinions on escorting a stranger around."
That day didn't go well. For the rest of her time there, that group decided to give Ezo hell, just for an opinion. Ezo felt a bit tired after reliving that one scene, and looked at Jane. Larry trotted back to Ezo, apparently disappointed she didn't follow him. He eyed Jane suspiciously, and laid down next to Ezo moodily. Why do people try to communicate with those outside their species?
