HISTORY:
Jason was born on January the 3rd to Laura and Ben Dryden. He had a happy childhood, loved by both his parents, and was thrilled when he found out he was going to be a big brother. At the age of 5 his little brother, Anthony, was born. And even though he was aware that his parents will not give him as much attention as they always did, he was still excited and promised to always take care of his baby brother. But at the age of 6, both his parents got murdered for their car key and money.
Jason and Anthony were split up, both send to different foster homes and Jason didn’t like that at all. He promised Anthony, even though Anthony was 1 at the time, that he will find him and be together again. Years went by, and Jason later lost track of his brother, having had problems of his own to deal with. The foster homes he was placed into didn’t always work out that well for him. He was beaten, abused, and the things he went through as a little kid...well, it would shock some people.
As a teenager he was somewhat of a problem-child and no one really wanted to take him in. He did horrible in school, on purpose of course; he was and still is a very intelligent person. He got caught up in some sticky situations, but somehow always found a way to worm himself out. Even as a teenager the families he ended up with didn’t care about him. So he often ran away and became a very, very independent person.
But through all this he never gave up looking for his brother. And one day, he finally found him. At the age of 23, Jason found Anythony. He was adopted by a rich family, and was 18 years old, living the life and attending a private school. Jason, instead of being jealous, was happy for his brother, and of course tried to make contact with him. But the people who adopted him wouldn’t allow it, and did a hell of a job keeping Jason away.
One night when Jason finally got the chance to approach his brother, he was attacked by a vampire in the alley he was passing through. The vampire had no intentions of changing him, oh no, he wanted to suck him dry. But Anthony walked by and saw the scene. Anthony shouted at the vampire and went into the alley to help. So, naturally, the vampire got distracted and left Jason and went for Anthony instead.
By this time Jason lost too much blood to even stand on his feet. He tried to gather the strength, but as soon as he took that step forward in attempt to stop the vampire, he dropped to the floor. For the first few seconds Jason fought to get up and save his brother, but Jason’s body wouldn’t allow it and he lost consciousness as his brother’s body dropped to the ground.
He wasn’t sure what happened after that. But he woke up, tied up in some abandoned building with a piece of rolled up cloth stuck into his mouth. The pain was unbearable, and in a way he was thankful for the cloth and the fact that he was tied up, kept him anchored to reality and made the pain a bit more bearable since he could bite into the cloth – since it could block out the agonising screams that burned his throat.
He wasn’t sure how long he was left there, alone, in pain and so, so confused. There was nothing on his mind other than the question of what’s happening to him. As hours and hours went by, the pain allowed his thoughts to go someplace else, but he didn’t like where it took him. His brother was dead...all because of him. Jason couldn’t stand that and swore if he survived whatever he was going through, he would hunt down whoever did this and kill him.
Jason lost track of time, he never truly had it. But the pain suddenly stopped and all he was left with was a burn in his throat. He figured, later, that he must have been tied up in that building for about four days. But the newborn broke free of the ropes easily, threw the bloody ropes and cloth aside and that’s when he realized he...changed. He was stronger, faster and everything looked brighter, clear and the smells he picked up...the sounds.
He didn’t know how fast he moved, but he was out of that building and into the streets of New York pretty fast. His nose and ears picked up a bunch of humans nearby and he quickly made a snack of them, soothing the burn in his throat. But he wanted more. Jason killed and killed and killed and killed. It almost never stopped. But it did once he ran into another vampire, a nomade.
The nomade stopped him, since he was causing a bit of a problem and attracting way too much attention to himself, and told him about the rules. He and the nomade stuck together for a while until the nomade was sure he could leave Jason alone without Jason going on a rampage. After a few months Jason went out on his own. And since he got the ability to think about more than blood back, he set out to find whoever killed his brother and changed him.
Jason, having no idea about anything, just the basic rules of ‘don’t kill too much so the Volturi won’t have to kill you’, thought his ability to manipulate people into doing whatever he told them to do was something all vampires had. If he told someone to give him their money, they did. If he told someone to stop screaming and running...they did. He didn’t tell anyone about this, thinking its normal...well, normal for vampires. So basically, Jason has a lot to learn, and he still needs to develop his power.

RP SAMPLE:Jason leaned over the sink and splashed some cold water in his face. Sometimes all this still felt like a dream...a nightmare. And to be honest, he wished it was. All he wanted to do was to pinch himself and wake up...human and sane. But that’s life, right? We don’t always get what we want.
He looked up into the mirror, blood red eyes staring back at him and the right side of his face glowing like a million perfect diamonds. It was the face of a monster, a mistake. He was dead and he should be dead. But oh, his instincts was to survive no matter what. He was fast, strong, smart and he could make people do anything he wanted. If he still was human he would call this something close to being a god.
But he wasn’t human, was he. This was more like being a demon...a devil even. But he did what he thought he had to, and sometimes, no matter how much he fought against the thirst, he just lost control and...Killed. Sure, he didn’t like it. But what else was there? Not like he could shove a cheese burger down his throat and be satisfied. Ha, yeah, food which was once like the food of gods was now...disgusting.
He sighed, grabbing the towel to wipe his face dry, but froze as his nose filled with the sweet, sweet scent of blood that was left on the white towel. He looked down, frowning upon the sight as he remembered the face of the woman he drained just a few minutes ago. Mmm, he wasn’t proud of himself, he killed woman, men...children. But he couldn’t stop himself. The blood was just so damn good.
He threw the towel back down on the sink and straightened in his stance, eyes catching the sight of more blood on the clothes he was wearing. His frown deepened; he really had to learn how to have his breakfast, lunch and dinner without spilling so much as a drop, though at this stage it was still hard for the newborn. Sure, he had a few months on him. Oh, those first few days was torture...it was hell. But, well, he wasn’t quite out of it yet. Oh no, he was still burning in the fire, screaming to get out...
All he wanted was to get out...
