RP SAMPLE:The dress she had fallen in love with it was beautiful, there could be a ball and then maybe she could wear it there, but that was only if it did happen. Gwen did not want to waste any money if it was just going to go to waste. If there was a ball she would of course ask Nicholas if he would be her date for the night though under the condition that he would embarrass his children, it must be bad enough that their father was dating one of their teachers. However, in class she was just as stern with them as she would be with any other student. Nicholas was a good man and that was what she liked about him, he was honest and fair. It was refreshing to know someone just like that. Her ex-husband had always had a childish nature about him and was often sarcastic, but they had grown up together. They did not divorce on bad terms, it was just because they had fallen out of love with each other but they remained good friends to this day. This something she was grateful for because he had made her the person she was today and in all honesty, she would be lost with him in her life in one form or another. Gwen had not lied to Nicholas about this; she had nothing to hide on the subject.
Gwen could not say she loved Nicholas yet but she did have strong feelings for him and love would come eventually that much she was sure of. Those feelings had always been there and maybe if they had not met their ex-partners when they did, maybe they would have been together at school and eventually married. It had always been a possibility since they had been close friends in school even though they had been in different houses. It had been just after the war she had found out she could not have children and it had a hard blow to her because she had always wanted a family of her own, her husband had stood by her and they considered adoption but turned down because of how busy they always were. Even now, she longed to be called mum rather than Professor or Aunt Gwen. It was something she had grown to accept, but it was still a longing that would no doubt stay with her for the rest of her life.
She knew that she should not buy it considering she had come shopping to get a few casual outfits since all she seemed to own were work and formal outfits. It was then she had gotten the biggest shock of her life and she quickly spun around her heel, she knew that voice and she was face with none other than Nicholas. “You scared the living daylights out of me.” Gwen told him quickly, her heart was racing. “What are you doing in muggle London; I thought you would be working?” She was actually glad she had not gone into St. Mungos now because she would have felt like an idiot. “Yes it is a beautiful dress, but one I am not going to buy because I came out with a mission to get some casual clothes and a few pairs of flat shoes. I am running low on jeans, so that will be the most important thing on my list.” Gwen realised she had not greeted him; she moved closer to him and gave him a slight pecked kiss on his lips. “And hello.” She chuckled looking up at him. “But seriously I didn’t know you liked to come into the muggle world.” She said in a quieter tone. “Though it was a nice surprise bumping into you, even if you managed to knock a few years off my life.”
